Our '2013 Spring Kidding Season' has already finished. In one week's time we had 23* babies born. I know this is small in comparison to some farms but this is enough for our farm and enough considering we only had six does freshen (kid). It was a rough kidding season this year with several very difficult births but we didn't lose any of the babies or the mama's. The Lord blessed us with beautiful healthy babies. I am in the process of photographing them to add to the website but they are full of shimmies and wiggles and taking their photograph is a bit of a challenge; unless of course they are tuckered out and sleeping.
*two babies were stillborn but it was obvious that they had passed away before the end of their gestation.
